18+ is the baseline

Always bring a valid ID. You must be 18 or older to enter a coffeeshop or buy and consume cannabis.

Start low & slow

Choose caution over intensity. Start with a low dose and give it time, especially if you have little or no experience, or when trying something new.

Do not drive

Never drive, cycle, or operate machinery within 24 hours after consuming cannabis. Plan your journey before you consume, and give yourself enough time to recover.

Do not mix

Avoid combining cannabis with alcohol, other drugs, or medication without medical advice. Mixing different substances can make effects stronger and less predictable.

Check in with yourself

Pause before you consume. Check your mental and physical state. If you feel anxious, exhausted, unstable, sick, or mentally vulnerable, consuming cannabis may not be the right choice.
